Meh I held out for as long as i could but after the recent developments I fear its going to take far to long to fix anything in the game...

At least they have an exit survey now (if it does any good or not I dont know) If they fix stuff I will come back but Im not holding my breath...

t4 is a complete and utter failure.
Fix Class Balance - the majority of classes are basically useless (shadow Warrior, Rune Priest, WHite Lion)

Game performance needs a complete overhaul. Getting supply lines because you cant support enough players in fort takes is boring. it is also boring waiting for zones to flip via domination. Usually that involves no fun activity at all - too much just standing around. I only have a couple of hours per day to play. If all i am doing is standing around then it is pointless to continue playing.

Pugs vs premade scenarios are no fun. Scenarios should be premade vs premade and pug vs pug.

The crafting system is a joke. Seriously potions and talismans are not at all exciting to make and trying to reach 200 takes way too much work for the benefit.
People are screaming for easier ways to get gear but instead of providing a crafting outlet you just put more and more grinding in the game... I think that is why t1 and t2 are so much more fun. It is easy to get gear and disables and other CC are not all over the place like in t4.

Characters are very vanilla. Everyone gets and uses the same gear so everyone looks the same. Even with dyes (when they actually work) you still look just like everyone else. As a long time warhammer table top player this is the games biggest failing for me because you can customize miniatures and make them look highly individual. A system similar to EQ2 where you could equip items for looks and have a second set of items slots that provided the actual item abilitys would help in this department. Lots of new armor models are needed as well (poor white lions...).

Dungeons are buggy, boring and offer poor reward (if any). Grinding for gear is not fun at all.

Renown abilities are lackluster and dont really give you the feeling that you are more powerful... they only enable you to grind for different (higher ranked) gear.

Keep contribution is horrible. I did over 40 keep takes without winning a gold bag. Plus now mdps sneaks in and kills the lord before the second door goes down and then you don't even get a roll. no point participating in that.

City instances are way too laggy. and there is too much pve involved.

I greatly enjoy T1 and t2 and a fair bit of t3 as well but the endgame isnt fun at all. Im not really interested in constantly rerolling characters to squeeze enjoyment out of the game.

I am the GM of a very large guild but only a handful of our members still have subs and of that handful maybe 1 or 2 are actively playing. I've been a huge supporter of this game going back to the Climax days but I just don't see any major improvements coming fast enough to make me want to continue playing or paying. Perhaps in the future I will come back but I will probably be in Jumpgate, SWTOR or the 40K mmo by the time things are turned around and not bother.

I'm a huge Warhammer nerd and a huge MMO fan this game should have been a slam dunk for me but sadly I find it lacking. I don't care about the War, nothing you do in the game has any significance and I think that is one of the games biggest shortfalls.

The world is too linear and you don't really feel a connection with anything. (There is no real realm pride). Even with the guild upgrades you don't have any sense of ownership in the game. I think Player housing or guild halls might help in this regaurd.

You guys have a serious uphill battle. I hope you can turn the game around quickly. After 9 months (plus beta) I just have no desire to even play any longer.

WHat really kind of put the final nail in the coffin was lotd. Just another stupid medal collection/gear grind and the first 2 pqs i did in it bugged out....

SO what does this mean for the guild? Nuttin you guys are stuck with me! Hopefully our next game will work out better! Plus if by some miracle they manage to turn WAR around I will give it another go. I just didnt see the point in paying for something i wasnt using (or really enjoying very much)

I'm going to change the forums i think (finally) and make a few changes so people will still want to participate here and keep in touch.

SO anyway lets have some discussion on what we should play maybe? I'll try anything but I wont go back to WOW Keelhauled

So Aoc, lotro ,eq2 would be fine by me. ANybody interested in Aion? it looks a bit too anime for me but id be willing to give it a go if that is something everyone would want to play.

Maybe we will get jumpgate beta:pie: I intend to at least try out Star Wars - but launch for that is probably a fair ways off still.... Heck it doesnt even need to be a mmo really -

agreed, i feel WAR let us down, and my class wasn't ... just wasn't.

so i know alot of us aren't going anywhere, got lots of games down the pipe line, and i got another little pirate due in 5 weeks Yarr!!

Unfortunately it looks like we are in one of those boring periods between games and betas. The only other game I might suggest would be EVE, but it's not that exciting. Another option is some online FPS, but I don't know how many of you enjoy those games.

I'm still enjoying myself in war, but if there's any non-sub/beta games 'yall want to hit up I'd definitely be up for some fun.

I'm always here and always willing to get in with whatever. I have a trial for DDO but have still not gotten my beta invite. I'm up for whatever thought.

If you want some laggy free cartoony death I recommend the battlefield heroes beta. I find it oddly fun.

Hey all again long time no see! lol I have to say I am sorry to see warhammer did not turn out so well I never got it my self even though I wanted to join I ended up just not getting interested in warhammer though right now I am getting the 10 day trial to at least see warhammer online. It is really to bad to hear the game did not turn out as well as I hoped it would of.

I sent jamu 500 gold and a purple talisman
I uninstalled the game as well

Heheh, I been playing EQ2 again for the last week or so and finding that I am absolutely loving the nice balance of solo and group content. Plus, their built in voice chat is bar none the best in game VC I have ever seen, it seriousl rivals vent. Not only that when you use the Push to Talk is automatically lowers in game sounds which is a freaking nice bonus!

I played some EQ2 last summer when they had the big come back its free deal...

This Months PC Gamer had a AOC trial disk in it.....MUST RESIST

(It also had a kickass swtor article)

i have been trying to get myself ready for Jumpgate by playing a bunch of Eve online.
pretty much the only things missing are 1) flight as eve is not a flying sim and 2) PvP combat wich i dont think im up to yet.
